WSF were contacted to offer advice and options to improve the aesthetics of a large detached house that was undergoing a refurbishment. The existing palette of finishes were not to the clients taste and as part of general alterations a fresh, modern and different design was required.
WSF provided samples, material information and then using design packages helped to offer differing design options so the final finish and detailing could be agreed.
The works had to comply with LA Planning requirements and co-ordinate with other works on-going as part of the refurbishment.
Block and facing brick walls were rendered and differing finishes applied. Feature bricks with an ‘olde worlde’ look were used to front and side elevations with pistol bricks around openings, blue bricks below dpc and then a silicone render to main wall areas all to provide a fresh finish.
The client was pleased with the improvements which have ensured the property now sits well within this prestigious neighbourhood.
